Abandon the Ghost Reflection

Flesh of hands torn
by request of broken
glass to allow flow
of iron tasting blood
down a cold surface
to a hungry floor below
crawling with harvestmen

His fractured scream reverberates
the reflection with
violent shock waves
and with a thunderous crash
two brows meet and saline
flows in twin rivers
down mirror's dreamscape

eight eighteen twenty four
years in the wake of
shattered reality
arrested by dream police
for awakening in
subconsciousness
and raped by spectres unknown

She said to save the tears
for the judgment day
to rise or fall by sacrifice
He remembers this as teeth
are pulled from his mouth by hand
and ribs are cracked from either side
and kisses bleeding mouth his own

Who was his saviour?

Though atoning with his own blood
he still cannot pass through shattered reflection

The mirror has driven me to despair
and I have adjusted by affect
